Some thoughts:This is a book that I like that is confusing. It is not a book you can easily describe.. It is one you can appreciate, often without understanding. Read this book if you wish to experience a powerful synergy of two completely different literary styles writing a biography of sorts. Full of connection but not exactly sure where. Implausible, sometimes incomprehensible - but fascinating! Collection of their lives and stories. Sort of. Read it.
Notes on Eran:
Creation Myth - Traveling, Rambling, Hitch-hiking, Canadian Provinces, On The Road, Moose, Sand, Frost, Molasses, Mosquitoes, Erosion. An amber sphere of luminescence. Comprehensible, comestible.
Notes on Sid:
Not-saying. Editing. Lists. Etymology. Essence. Surprise. Fact, fiction, related, or other. Under-cities, dreams, landscapes. Sonic, formal, visual, psychic. Radiation ghost phase. Chaos, wonder. A warming longing for love. Pleasant confusion.
Freudian quotes:
"Male. I have genitals to prove it and I can eject spermatozoa all over anything I want."
"Mysterious stranger of totally ambiguous features kidnaps my genitals. "Drat," I think. I pursue, recover, and replace them."

And Then There Is Everything Sidney Gray Eran Hornick 9781304375421 Books Reviews
You can tell from reading the book that the writer (s) gallivants and, in writing and on foot, covers much geographical and intellectual territories. The book is surprisingly perennial and it gives you the illusion that time passes through mankind while not quite passing through. There are stories of time - nonhuman time - that behave more like childlike parables, not meant to be taken seriously....though there are other vagrant stories that are deeply embedded in the motion of wisdom - these stories take time to reveal themselves. I hope you will have the pleasure of reading it - the writer is obviously very meticulous.
The best word is interesting. It's different.
Sidney Gray's style of writing I found to be musical. He makes it fun to read the words without needing the content to be engaging. This is not to say it wasn't engaging but reading the words was fun, which is a different experience. By musical I mean a song is played and heard and stirs parts of me that connect with emotions by simply listening to the combinations of melodies and uses of specific instruments, even without hearing the words. His portion of the book was stirring just by the presentation of the words. I hope that makes sense. However, I'm not sure how accessible his writing is for most people because it's definitely not a spoonfed narrative.
Eran Hornick I found less consistent. Although his writing I felt was consistently more accessible, specific short stories stood out much more than others. Some were particularly memorable, like his story entitled, "The Ballad of God When He was a Little Boy," an amusing story of creation and interaction, while other stories I find difficult to recall.
All-in-all I find this book niche and one I enjoyed in a unique way.
